Change of Views

Hello, everyone! I hope everyone is spectacular! I know I haven't followed up on this topic (and my blog in general) for years, but I wanted to give an update to anyone whom it may concern or to anyone who cares. My views have somewhat changed since my last blog post, "CAPITALISM: NO MORE, PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO MORE!" I still think that there are lots of issues with capitalism, but there are good things about it as well such as the chance to become rich and to make lots of money. Without this motivation, I find that the true desire to work and keep an economy going doesn't seem worth it at least not for the average person anyway. I also find that there are economic systems that are far worse and are less productive than capitalism. I think that capitalism by itself may be the problem. Maybe a blend of economic systems and policies that are a permanent part of the system, are needed instead of just one. For instance, capitalism combined with a resource-based economy or capitalism with social policies (not to be confused with socialism), maybe a better solution. Although, social policy is not an economic system, I find it to be the only way capitalism can truly exist on its own without so many problems since capitalism leaves so much to be desired when you build a system where you need money in order to make money. I may elaborate more on this topic in the very near future but until then happy posting!
